Wind, hail, and fallen limbs damage roofs in ways you can't always see. We find it, document it for your insurer, and fix it.

North Jersey gets it from every direction. Nor'easters bring long hours of wind and soaking rain. Summer thunderstorms bring sudden gusts, downbursts, and hail. The remnants of tropical systems bring all of that plus falling trees. Your roof takes every bit of it, and the damage isn't always a missing patch of shingles you can see from the lawn.
Wind breaks the seal between shingles. They may lie back down and look fine, but they're loose now, and the next storm lifts them or drives rain underneath. Hail bruises shingles, knocking granules off and cracking the mat below, which shortens the roof's life even if it isn't leaking yet. Flashing gets bent. Ridge caps loosen. A limb can puncture the deck.
After a storm, we inspect the roof, photograph what we find, and give you a written scope of the damage. If it warrants an insurance claim, that documentation is what your insurer needs to see. We're roofers, not public adjusters, so the claim itself stays between you and your insurance company. Our part is making sure the damage is recorded clearly and honestly, then fixing it.

What’s included
Every storm damage repair job gets the same treatment: a written scope, the owner checking the work, and a site left cleaner than we found it.
A full look at shingles, ridge caps, flashing, vents, gutters, and the attic where accessible, to find both the obvious damage and the hidden kind.
Creased, lifted, and missing shingles are replaced and sealed, and loosened ridge caps and flashing are refastened before the next storm finds them.
We check shingles for bruising and granule loss, and check soft metals like vents and gutters for dents that confirm hail size and direction.
Punctured decking, cracked sheathing, and crushed sections are opened up, rebuilt with new wood, and re-roofed to tie into the existing roof.
You get dated photos and a written scope of damage and repairs. It's the documentation your insurer and their adjuster will want to see.
If the roof needs replacing, TAMKO StormFighter IR impact-resistant shingles are worth considering for a home that keeps taking storm hits.
From your neighbors
“We recently had 2 roofs replaced — ours and my mother’s. Bryant walked us through the entire process with frequent updates, stuck to the schedule, and made sure the sites were perfectly clean afterwards. We were very impressed with their efficiency.”
“Bryant and his team was a pleasure to work with. Great communication, quality materials and workmanship and a very competitive price!”

As soon as you reasonably can. Insurance policies set deadlines for reporting damage, and the longer you wait, the harder it gets to tie damage to a specific storm. Hidden damage also gets worse with every rain. A prompt inspection gives you photos and a dated record, even if you decide not to file a claim.
From the ground, look for dented gutters, downspouts, and window screens, and for piles of granules at the downspout outlets. On the roof, hail leaves soft, dark bruises where granules were knocked away. It's easy to miss and easy to confuse with normal wear, so it takes a trained eye up close to call it.
Calling a roofer first usually makes sense. If the damage is minor or below your deductible, filing a claim may not be worth it, and you'll want to know that before you open one. If the damage is significant, you go to your insurer with photos and a written scope already in hand.
Be careful. After big storms, out-of-area crews canvass neighborhoods, collect insurance checks, do fast work, and move on. When a problem shows up later, there's nobody to call. Check that any contractor is licensed and insured in New Jersey and has a real local address. Titan is based in North Haledon, and you deal with the owner.
